We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Specialist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Community and Wellbeing network, you will play a vital role in supporting the running of our rheumatology outpatient service.
Key Responsibilities- Administer intravenous medications to treat various rheumatological conditions
- Support our blood monitoring service for patients with various rheumatological conditions
- Work alongside our multidisciplinary team, including consultants, specialist nurses, AHPs, HCAs, and admin staff
- First-level registration with the NMC
- Ability to provide evidence of Continuing Professional Development
- Cannulation and Venepuncture skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Post-registration qualification in a healthcare-related subject
- Teaching Qualification (ENB 998 Cert Ed or equivalent)
- Able to be self-motivated and motivate others
- A special interest in working with people with long-term conditions
- Willingness to develop competencies within the scope of professional practice to meet service needs
