Head of Social Job Description

Sphere Digital Recruitment | Best Small Company 2022 is seeking a highly motivated and commercially-minded individual to lead our social media team and drive its growth.

About the Role

As Head of Social, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring the social team, building strong client relationships, and driving business growth. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and mentoring the social media team to achieve business objectives.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Developing and implementing social media strategies to drive business growth and increase brand awareness.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Strategy to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Leading the hiring and resource allocation process for the social media team.
  • Developing and presenting pitches for new business opportunities.
  • Collaborating closely with the Director to ensure seamless integration with clients and the business.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in social media. You will have approximately 7-10 years' experience in social media, specifically within an agency. You will be a strong networker and relationship builder, with a hands-on approach to challenges. You will lead by example and present with confidence, thinking creatively and staying current on industry trends. You will contribute to growth-oriented, culture-driven agency and offer leadership, collaboration, and active listening.
