About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Statutory Accountant to join our team at Trinity House Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing statutory and regulatory reporting, ensuring the accuracy of our accounts, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Statutory Reporting: Lead the production of our financial statements and regulatory reporting for both the Group and individual entities.
  • Financial Governance: Ensure the overall accuracy of our accounts and compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
  • Audit and Compliance: Lead the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors and other advisors as required.
  • Financial Controls: Monitor compliance with our financial controls and accounting policies.
  • Pension Scheme Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate reporting of our pension scheme.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Support the review process to ensure our balance sheet accurately reflects all assets and liabilities.
  • Statutory Compliance: Meet all statutory and regulatory requirements.
About You
  • Qualifications: Qualified ACA or ACCA with an audit practice background and 3 years post-qualified experience.
  • Experience: Solid experience of statutory reporting and group accounts level, with a proven track record of leading audit engagements and consolidating group accounts.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, excellent analytical skills, and a strong attention to detail.
