About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical (EC+I) Engineer to join our team at Work Lyf Group Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and engineering electrical process systems for our global clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and engineer electrical control systems for process plants in the food, beverage, personal care, and homecare industries.
  2. Develop engineering specifications for electrical control panels, instrumentation, and electrical installation.
  3. Manage control panel manufacturing, liaising with suppliers and assisting with testing as required.
  4. Create Load/Motor, Instrument, and I/O Schedules from P&ID and relevant equipment data sheets.
  5. Liaise with site and project teams for the duration of the installation and provide support during the installation period.
  6. Design electrical loop diagrams, cable routes, and layouts.
  7. Approve control panel schematics and layouts, incorporating connection data onto electrical loop diagrams.
  8. Configure and commission instruments and VSDs, and support I/O testing with the wider project team.
  9. Assist with power-up procedures and I/O testing during early stage commissioning.
  10. Prepare site commissioning files, including construction status electrical drawings.
  11. Complete and issue electrical drawings to the documentation team on project completion.

Requirements:

  1. HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with relevant industry experience.
  2. 7+ years of experience in designing and engineering electrical process systems.
  3. Ability to design control systems from P&ID's and process data sheets.
  4. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
  5. Understanding of electrical regulations relating to hazardous area applications.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  8. UK driving license.
