About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Team Coordinator to provide administrative and project support to our Economic Development and Programmes Team. The successful candidate will work closely with senior staff to coordinate contributions to Mayoral reports, meetings, and correspondence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a central coordinator for the team, coordinating responses to Mayoral questions, performance dashboards, and other reports.
  • Coordinate responses to Mayoral correspondence and provide administrative support to senior officer boards.
  • Organize team events and maintain key lines of communication with staff across the organization.
  • Provide high-level support to the Assistant Director, including diary management and meeting coordination.
  • Maintain trackers and rotas for team-wide activities and update the team's induction document as required.
Requirements
  • Experience of using IT systems, including MS Outlook, word-processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
