About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Collections and Network Driver to join our team at Royal Mail. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of mail and parcels to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
As a Collections and Network Driver, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering mail and parcels to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- Collecting mail from post offices and processing centers
- Operating a variety of vehicles, including vans and lorries
- Working independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our customers
What We Offer
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.54, plus overtime opportunities. You will also receive a contributory pension scheme, 22.5 days holiday (rising with length of service), and a range of other benefits, including full uniform and excellent parental leave policy.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points. You should also be able to work flexible shift patterns, including evenings and weekends, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
