Role Overview: -

This position is integral to the Supply Chain team, focusing on the Demand Planning process for assigned accounts. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to maintain and enhance the Demand Plan template, ensuring accurate business forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Demand Planner in executing the Demand Planning process.
  • Oversee SKU and customer-level forecasts for your designated accounts.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to produce precise business forecasts.
  • Facilitate monthly demand reviews with the sales team for your accounts.
  • Challenge forecast assumptions constructively to achieve consensus on the overall business forecast.
  • Actively participate in the monthly S&OP process.
  • Coordinate with NPD, Marketing, and Finance to effectively plan for new product launches and key initiatives.
  • Engage with key retailers/customers to agree on collaborative forecasts for promotions and events.
  • Regularly analyze and report on KPIs to monitor forecast accuracy.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the demand planning process and implement best practices.
  • Work closely with Purchasing to support the supply planning process, ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Assist Commercial Finance with the business cash-up process.
  • Incorporate social and environmental considerations into all aspects of the role.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in FMCG is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in Advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables and Vlookups.
  • Adept at handling large data sets and translating data into actionable insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Capable of delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and best practices.
  • ERP experience is advantageous.
  • A genuine passion for pets is essential.
