About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the ambulatory clinics at South Pembrokeshire Hospital. As a Band 5 District/Community Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in our community clinics.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in community nursing, with experience in leg ulcer management, catheter care, and ear microsuction. You will be passionate about delivering patient-centered care and have excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care to patients in our community clinics, including leg ulcer management, catheter care, and ear microsuction.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide patient-centered care and support.
  • Contribute to service improvement initiatives and research projects to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Level 1 Registered Nurse (Adult) qualification.
  • Current NMC Registration.
  • Experience in community nursing, with a focus on leg ulcer management, catheter care, and ear microsuction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to participate in training and professional development opportunities.
