Job Description

Head of Group Tax | International | FTSE 50

£130k-£160k Basic + generous bonus + benefits

Hybrid - 2-3 days office presence

Based in a dynamic and international business environment

STOIX, a purpose-led B Corp, is seeking a seasoned tax professional to lead the tax function's transformation and establish best-in-class processes and procedures. Reporting to the Group Director of Tax & Treasury, this role offers great progression opportunities within the business and potential succession planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the global tax strategy, aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Provide strategic tax advice to support business growth and M&A activity.
  • Oversee tax compliance across the group, mitigating risks and ensuring accuracy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tax authorities and external advisors.
  • Drive tax efficiency initiatives and leverage technology to optimize processes.

Requirements:

  • CTA (or equivalent) qualification and extensive global tax experience.
  • Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing tax teams.
  • Strong understanding of tax implications of complex business structures.
  • Experience in managing tax risks and compliance in a global organization.
  • Significant experience in dealing with tax authorities and advisors.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A pro-active individual who enjoys working collaboratively as a team.
  • Treasury experience is desirable.
