About the Role:

As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer - Subsea Equipment Specialist, you will be a key member of our Mechanical Field Services Team, providing hands-on technical support and operations advice for the full product range of ROVs, trenchers, and ploughs in the factory and at various customer locations worldwide as and when required.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in the factory assisting with product completion and Factory Acceptance Tests
  • Installation & Commission of the product - this could be globally
  • Be part of the mobilisation team to assist with both product repair or on the site standby representative (this could be on a vessel at sea) - when at sea, the main objectives are to keep the equipment fully functional, repair it if it breaks, plus to provide some operational support and advice to customers' operations personnel.
  • Manage and oversee the Sea Trials of the product
  • Final Acceptance Testing of the range of products
  • Willingness to travel globally - at times, very short notice
  • Confident at report writing

Requirements:

  • Experience working with ROVs, Trenchers or Ploughs
  • A formal technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering
  • Full driving licence
  • UK Passport
