Key Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement practices.
  • Prior experience in equipment monitoring and compliance, with a strong ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Familiarity with site-level planning processes.
  • A proven track record in coaching and developing teams to meet KPIs and targets, nurturing future leaders.

Your Role:

As a Manufacturing Shift Supervisor at Warburtons, you will play a crucial role in promoting excellence, innovation, and efficiency in our production operations. You will lead a dedicated team, oversee daily production processes, and uphold our commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership Focus: We seek a leader, not just a manager. Your main task is to inspire and guide your team to reach their full potential. Lead by example, motivate, and foster an environment where your team feels empowered to succeed.
  • Champion of Continuous Improvement: You will be the driving force behind our continuous improvement efforts. Embrace and advocate for Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement strategies to identify opportunities for process enhancement, waste reduction, and cost efficiency. Implement these improvements to achieve measurable and sustainable outcomes.
  • Operational Excellence: Take ownership of performance metrics within your area, ensuring they not only meet but exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Your area should exemplify operational excellence, instilling a culture of accountability, efficiency, and quality.

Our Enfield site is one of the largest bakeries in Europe, featuring five operational plants and employing around 500 colleagues across various shift patterns.
