We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Consultant Physician to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a leading health and wellbeing service, we provide mental health and community and inpatient care to patients across mid and south Essex.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our dedicated medical team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services. Main Responsibilities
  • Support the expansion of our innovative Frailty Virtual Ward in the Mid and South Essex ICS.
  • Work across the three community providers that deliver the Frailty Virtual Ward.
  • Take full and independent responsibility for delivering services without direct supervision.
Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Evidence of completion of specialist training or equivalent.
  • MD/PhD or other higher degree.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Evidence of thorough and broad training and experience in the specialty.
  • Experience of inter-agency working and teaching trainees/multidisciplinary staff.
  • Able to manage frailty in Acute and community care.
