Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Manager to lead the daily operations of our Residential Children's Home. This is a full-time role offering a competitive annual salary.

About FEVACA:
FEVACA is a family-owned Social Care organization committed to providing support and accommodation for young individuals across various regions.

Key Responsibilities:
The Registered Manager will be responsible for:
  • Supervising and guiding the staff team within the children's home.
  • Reporting directly to senior management, including the Responsible Individual and Area Manager.
  • Ensuring the needs of the children are met while fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
  • Maintaining compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.
  • Overseeing staff performance, including conducting appraisals and promoting team cohesion.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the development and well-being of young residents.

Essential Qualifications:
  • A strong, non-judgmental value base.
  • Commitment to equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, including safeguarding and health and safety.
  • Experience (minimum 2 years) working with vulnerable children in a residential setting.
  • Proven ability to manage staff and oversee performance evaluations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
  • Completion of the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Management qualification.
  • Full UK driving license.
