Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Education Support Specialist to join our team at Academics. As a key member of our primary school support team, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers in creating engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 1 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of Key Stage 1 students.
  • Support the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic growth and social development.
  • Provide individualized support to students, helping them to build confidence and develop essential skills.
  • Adapt to different school settings and teams, bringing a proactive and dedicated approach to each assignment.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their educational development.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a KS1 setting is highly desirable.
  • A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
