About the Role

Fawkes & Reece South is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to spearhead their new commercial team on an exciting new project. As a key member of the team, you will be instrumental in building and developing a high-performing team of Quantity Surveyors while delivering exceptional commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and financial reports.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and team members.
  • Assist in contract administration and dispute resolution.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Preparation and negotiation of final accounts.

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
  • Have a track record of working for a main contractor or similar size.
  • In-depth knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contracts.
  • Excellent IT skills across Microsoft suites.
