We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our Private Client Department in Cambridgeshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on a range of private client matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) and Wills, including providing Inheritance Tax (IHT) advice
  • Administering estates and trust work, including dealing with probate and estate planning
  • Assisting with Deputyship applications and other court-related matters
  • Contributing to the business development of the department, including identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with clients and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of private client law, including LPAs, Wills, and estate administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of organization and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Relevant qualifications, such as STEP accreditation, would be an advantage
