About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Test Engineer to join our team at Kineton. As a key member of our Automotive department, you will play a crucial role in validating the different vehicle control units and their integration.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless operation of our vehicle control systems, working closely with our development team to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate vehicle control units and their integration
  • Support the definition of test cases and traceability of issues found during testing
  • Collaborate with the development team to resolve testing issues
  • Work on integration test benches and/or vehicles to follow the entire lifecycle of the vehicle
Requirements
  • University degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar
  • Knowledge of dSPACE tools and Vector Canalyzer/CANoe
  • Good understanding of electronics and electrical engineering
  • Basic knowledge of components and logic used in electric vehicles
  • Knowledge of CAN/LIN protocols
  • Familiarity with C Language and Python
  • Knowledge of Mathworks tools (Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, and toolbox) is a plus
Desirable Skills
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in automotive projects
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, preferably backed up by study and/or work experience abroad
  • Strong motivation and orientation toward team working
  • Willingness to travel and relocate
