Nurse Seekers is delighted to announce an opportunity for a Level 2 or 3 Qualified Childcare Educator on behalf of a highly regarded Montessori Nursery. The ideal candidate will be a committed professional who is enthusiastic and dedicated to fostering a nurturing, educational, and engaging atmosphere that supports children's growth and independence.
This exceptional private establishment offers a warm and inviting family-like environment, with several team members having dedicated over two decades to the nursery, alongside a Manager who has also been a long-standing presence, ensuring that all staff are valued and their skills are effectively utilized.
Core Responsibilities
- To create a secure and engaging environment that caters to the individual needs of each child.
- To conduct formative assessments that provide genuine and precise insights into each child's learning and development.
- To collaborate with parents to ensure that the child's needs are being nurtured and developed.
- To ensure that nutritional requirements and the Food, Health, and Safety Regulations are integrated into the nursery's daily practices.
- To adhere to health and safety regulations for both children and staff, ensuring a safe environment.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification or equivalent.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with young children.
- A Montessori qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
