We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our Children in Care Team within the Social Care industry in Wiltshire Council.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct initial and core assessments to ensure the best interests of children and families.
- Participate in Looked After Children (LAC) reviews and provide evidence to support decision-making.
- Manage a varied caseload, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely completion of assessments and reports.
- Develop and implement effective plans to support children and families, working collaboratively with other agencies and professionals.
- Prepare and present court reports, ensuring accurate and comprehensive information is provided.
- Conduct Section 47 investigations, gathering and analyzing information to inform decision-making.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified Social Worker with a HCPC registration and a degree-level education. You will also require excellent knowledge of therapeutic approaches, relevant legislation, national policy, and initiatives, as well as experience working with children and families.
