\t* Lead the development of technical excellence and solutions based on relevant best practice and research, including knowledge sharing across the national ecology team.
\t* Supervise and review the development of standard technical solutions and verify that outputs meet expected quality standards.
\t* Contribute to the development of a strategy to develop opportunities for the technical area including identifying links between research-based projects and generating work for the wider team.
\t* Contribute to planning committees, inquiries and Expert Witness evidence.
\t* Manage projects including scope, cost/revenue budgets, third party deliverables and change control, WIP, invoicing and debt.
\t* Be able to negotiate and discuss fees and Terms and Conditions, bespoke contracts and warranties (with support from our inhouse legal team) as appropriate.
\t* Have demonstrable experience of fulfilling task timescales and achieving deadlines with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and third parties regarding risks and potential issues.
\t* Complete Tetra Tech's Project Management training to Level 2.
\t* Have line management responsibility including timesheet signoff, pastoral care and duty of care where appropriate for the technical specialism.
\t* Hold a full driving licence.
