The Chace People team is seeking an experienced and dedicated Estate Domestic Couple to oversee a fully staffed, expansive estate in Gloucestershire, which is a much-loved country residence for an ultra-high-net-worth family.
This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards and seamless operation of the household and estate, involving comprehensive management duties and supervision of grounds staff.
The estate, serving as the family's secondary residence, requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, overseeing regular checks and testing.
- Coordinate with external contractors for timely servicing and maintenance.
- Keep documentation and inventories up-to-date for all facilities and equipment.
- Supervise building and outdoor area maintenance, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
Housekeeping Duties:
- Assist with laundry, wardrobe management, and packing/unpacking.
- Provide hospitality services during occupancy, including turn-down service and food/beverage serving.
- Support kitchen activities during events.
- Manage household budgets and oversee local staff.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in managing luxury estates.
- Fluency in English.
- Clean driving licenses, and longevity in previous positions are essential.
- Culinary proficiency required for at least one member to assist or cover the estate Chef as needed.
