Shop Floor Supervisor

The Mare and Foal Sanctuary is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing stock levels, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

1. Visual Merchandising: Develop and implement visually appealing store displays that showcase our products and create an engaging shopping experience for customers.
2. Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
3. Stock Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and sale of stock, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing stock losses.
4. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
5. Health and Safety: Ensure the store is maintained in a safe and clean condition, adhering to health and safety procedures and reporting any incidents or concerns.
6. Administration: Manage store administration, including processing sales, handling customer transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience in a retail management role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with retail software
