About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Director to join our team at Blue Spark Organisation Ltd. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the in-house manufacturing operations and driving changes to optimize product and processes.
As the Manufacturing Director, you will lead a team of Shift Leads, the Head of Quality, and Engineering and Administrative staff, nurturing and galvanizing their talents to ensure smooth operations with maximum efficiency. Quality and compliance will be a top priority, as you champion a culture of safety, best practice, and the highest manufacturing standards.
You will work closely with the Product, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to facilitate the development and launch of new products, being involved in capital projects and safeguarding quality.
One of the most exciting projects on your plate will be to manage the build and delivery of a new manufacturing facility, utilizing your expertise to make this project a success.
About You
We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Director who thrives in a rapidly changing environment and has the agility to flex from operating at exec level to being hands-on in the factory. You will have a real passion for food and the ability to immerse yourself in the product and process to truly understand it.
Previous experience of working at a senior level within food manufacturing is essential, along with experience of building a new factory. You must be a leader who will get things done, strategic, nimble, confident, commercially astute, and values-driven.
Happy to consider experience in any food sector, although bakery / confectionery / snacks would be great to have.
