Science Technician

We are seeking a skilled Science Technician to join our team at a large secondary school in Salford. As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the science department and ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratories.

• Prepare resources and equipment for science lessons
• Maintain and clean laboratory equipment and stock
• Support the science department with administrative tasks
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a positive learning environment

• Degree educated with a good classification
• Previous experience working with young people
• Experience of teaching in a secondary school (desirable)
• Up-to-date safeguarding training
• Up-to-date prevent awareness training
• Up-to-date behaviour management and FGM training

• A competitive rate of pay from £110 per day
• A full-time contract with a minimum of 8:30am - 4pm hours
• The opportunity to work in a recently rated 'Good' school with a high aspirational focus
