We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety professional to join our core team in Derby. As a Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with the implementation, monitoring, and reviewing of Health & Safety & well-being strategies, procedures, risk assessments, site safety plan, and safe working practices in line with the Global Safety Framework across all 3 production sites.
Key Responsibilities- Action any safety concerns raised by employees, managers, safety representatives, visitors, contractors, or members of the public.
- Support the carrying out and / or review of risk assessments where required, to carry out workplace inspections in order to proactively identify where Health & Safety may be improved.
- Work with the team to develop and implement effective Health and Safety policies and procedures.
We are looking for someone with a working knowledge and understanding of incident investigation (best practice) and who enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be a team player who is able to encourage and motivate others to work safely.
