Job Title: Editor/Proofreader

Job Summary: Novakid School is seeking a dedicated Editor/Proofreader to join our Content Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in crafting our online English language program for children aged 4-12, aligned with European CEFR standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Edit and Proof Content: Ensure that all educational materials, including lessons, homework exercises, and assessments, meet Novakid's standards and philosophy.
  2. Content Quality: Ensure that all content is engaging, fun, and educational for our young learners.
  3. Content Review: Participate in the content review process and provide constructive feedback to improve the quality of our materials.
  4. Classroom Observation: Observe classes to ensure that our educational materials are effective and meet the needs of our students.
  5. Material Improvement: Continuously improve existing materials to ensure they remain relevant and engaging.
  6. Multimedia Editing: Edit and proof multimedia materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  7. Cultural Sensitivity: Ensure that all content is inclusive and culturally sensitive.
  8. Content Enhancement: Proactively suggest improvements and enhancements to our content.

Requirements:

  1. Computer Literacy: High computer literacy, particularly with G Suite.
  2. Higher Education: Higher education in a related field (English).
  3. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in editing and proofing educational materials or children's books and/or games.
  4. Language Proficiency: A native speaker educated in either the UK or USA.
