About the Role

Your new company is a leading construction firm based in Surrey, specializing in the installation of interior fixtures and fittings for commercial and residential properties in the Southeast and London areas. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Director in organizing JCT contracts, managing subcontractors, and ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Operations Director in managing contracts and subcontractors
  • Read and interpret procurement schedules for corporate projects
  • Execute plans to supply materials and workers on time and within budget
  • Work within the confines of the contract to offer the best value to customers while ensuring commercial gain
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a UK qualification in Quantity Surveying and experience in commercial construction. You should be proficient in working with sophisticated blue-chip corporate projects and have excellent communication skills. This is an office-based role in Surrey or site-based in London, with regular site visits to customers.
