Aerial Platforms Ltd: Workshop Foreman

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workshop Foreman to oversee the day-to-day operations of our workshop at our Leigh depot.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the workshop team to ensure timely and efficient repairs, servicing, and maintenance of our equipment.
  • Oversee inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of access equipment, including boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Monitor and manage workshop productivity, workflow, and parts inventory.
  • Assist with the training and development of workshop staff, ensuring all team members are up-to-date with industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within the powered access equipment, plant hire, or construction industry.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge of powered access platforms and equipment.
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering or mechanics (desirable).
  • Full UK driving licence.
