CRC Evans is seeking a highly skilled Graduate Welding Engineer to join our team as a Pipeline Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our Welding Engineers on various projects, including tender preparation, project execution, and research and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of technical specifications for tenders and contracts, ensuring cost, quality, and cycle time impact are accurately determined.
- Calculate welding cycle times for pipeline installation rate estimates, providing valuable insights for tender and planning purposes.
- Monitor and collate data from R&D materials and welding projects, providing budget-estimates and firm offers for tenders, projects, or internal clients.
- Review and analyze technical documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in welding/materials engineering or a related field.
- Experience in mechanical/electrical engineering is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, with occasional offshore assignments.
