We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Control of Works professional to join our team at Integral UK Ltd. As a Control of Works Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of all works across our site.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor all high and low-risk activities carried out on site, liaising with contractors, project managers, engineering, and soft services teams.
- Build and manage permits on the electronic permit system.
- Issue permits for high-risk activities such as working at height, ground disturbance, hot works, etc.
- Review and provide comments on Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Write Risk Assessments and Method Statements for the engineering team.
- Liaise with contractors and work owners on a daily basis.
- Conduct daily work safety audits.
- Undertake regular job-related training.
- Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and guidance for disciplines such as working at heights, hot works, lifting operations, etc.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Comfortable engaging with clients, contractors, senior management, etc.
- Proficient in IT skills such as Word, Smartsheet, and Excel.
- Can work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and others.
- Minimum of 3 years working within the facilities management industry.
- IOSH passed within the last 2 years.
- Preferred - Previously issued high-risk permits such as working at height, hot works, etc.
- Preferred IPAF, PASMA.
