Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Pawnbroking Assistant to support our dynamic Pawnbroker Department. This role is essential in managing a diverse range of jewellery items, ensuring smooth operations during our regular sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process items from vendors, ensuring accurate sorting and secure storage.
- Handle incoming deliveries and address any discrepancies with vendors.
- Assist in the preparation of items for customer viewings, including ticketing and display setup.
- Engage with potential buyers during viewings, providing assistance and answering queries.
- Support operations on sale days, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
- Facilitate customer collections and manage the dispatch of items post-sale.
- Coordinate with the accounts team to confirm payments prior to item release.
- Address customer inquiries throughout the process, maintaining high service standards.
- Prepare detailed condition reports upon request, including photographic documentation.
