Role Purpose

To oversee site operations, ensuring successful project delivery in line with company and customer expectations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and third parties to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage site activities, monitor progress, and take corrective action to protect the company's contractual position.
  • Ensure effective project close-out, including snagging, from initial site setup to completion.
  • Inspect and monitor work quality, addressing issues with sub-contractors and trades.
  • Maintain accurate site records, adhering to company and legislative requirements.
  • Identify potential project delivery risks and take necessary action to mitigate them.
  • Safeguard the company's contractual and financial position, ensuring contract terms are understood and adhered to.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial team to monitor project finances, identify solutions, and implement improvements.
  • Manage preliminary costs within budget.
  • Lead direct reports and sub-contract labor, ensuring safe and efficient working practices.
  • Communicate essential information effectively.
  • Fulfill responsibilities within the Project Management System.
  • Ensure adherence to HSQE standards, operating processes, company policies, and legislative requirements.
  • Take corrective action on policy breaches to maintain a safe site.
  • Ensure public safety when working in live environments.
  • Coordinate sub-contractor activities to ensure efficient work completion.

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified with the 7-point site passport.
  • HND/HNC in building studies preferred.
  • CSCS card required.
  • Full driving license.
