Senior Tax Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team as a Tax Portfolio Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with our established portfolio and contribute to the growth of our Chartered Accountancy Practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client relationships, including meetings and phone calls to discuss accounts and tax returns.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to clients on best practice and process.
  • Aid in staff training and development, ensuring the team is equipped to deliver exceptional service.
  • Deal with HMRC in relation to inspections or enquiries, as necessary.
  • Prepare advance assurance forms for various situations, such as company restructures or EIS applications.
  • Assist with personal and business tax returns.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years' experience within an Accountancy Practice.
  • Preferably ACCA / ACA / ATT / CTA Qualified.
  • QBE encouraged to Apply.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Within commutable distance from East Grinstead.
  • Full driver's license and own car.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: £48,000 - £60,000 per annum.
  • Hybrid working arrangement (up to 4 days at home).
  • 4% of work billed paid each month.
  • Monday - Friday 9 am - 5:30 pm.
  • Private medical care.
  • 5% employer contribution scheme.
  • Opportunity to work alongside a Partner with progression available.
