About the Role

We are seeking an experienced clinical pharmacist to join our team as a Clinical Lead Pharmacist. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as the first point of contact for clinical practitioners, management personnel, and other healthcare professionals in matters relating to Cancer Services and the procurement of outsourced SACT.
  2. Lead on pharmacy aspects relating to the implementation and maintenance of the e-chemotherapy prescribing system.
  3. Support commissioning processes relating to externally commissioned cancer medicines.
  4. Ensure compliance with medicines legislation, policies, and procedures, including those relating to specialist areas.
  5. Ensure a safe, legal, and timely supply of medication to patients.
  6. Provide professional support to the Principal Pharmacists as required.
  7. Be responsible for planning and provision of clinical pharmacy and medicines management for cancer services to ensure timely delivery of services.
  8. Be professionally accountable for own practice and for that of others in their field of practice.
