Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Residential Development Architect to join our team at AJC Recruitment. As a key member of our architecture division, you will be responsible for leading and designing a wide range of residential developments at all scales, from feasibility layouts through to planning applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage residential development projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that align with project goals, local regulations, and client requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously within strict timelines and budgets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working on residential housing developments in the UK.
  • Excellent residential layout design and architectural skills for outline and RM applications.
  • Good knowledge of the latest legislations and ensuring projects comply with CDM regulations.
  • Good understanding of producing associated documents, including Design Access Statements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD; Revit experience is an advantage.
