About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PCB Design Engineer to join our team at Terry Parris Associates. As a key partner with leading medical devices, semiconductor, scientific analytics, and industrial systems manufacturers, we pride ourselves on powering progress in health, security, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop PCB layouts, electrical schematics, and electrical diagrams for our power supplies and control electronics.
  • Enter schematics from design engineering sketches and create 3D models and assemblies, including piece part information.
  • Generate and maintain part information and bills of materials, as well as maintain our PCB library and DCC drawing system.
  • Produce system schematics, wiring diagrams, and schedules, while adhering to our ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental, and Health and Safety management systems.
  • Stay informed and support our Quality and Environmental requirements and improvement activities, committing to achieving our business, Quality, and Environmental objectives and policies.
Requirements
  • HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven expertise and experience in PCB design (preferably to IPC Standard) and mechanical design, with knowledge of analogue, digital, and surface mount technologies.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in CAD packages for PCB and mechanical design, such as Cadstar, eCadstar, Board Modeller, Inventor, and AutoCAD.
