Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planner to join our team at First Recruitment Services. As a Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's inventory management system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Prepare and manage stock purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to meet customer demand.
- Forecasting and Analysis: Develop and create reports that provide insights on inventory forecasts, monitoring inventory levels and analyzing performance metrics to identify trends.
- Business Intelligence: Review historical sales trends to research demand drivers and prepare forecast data, providing input in developing inventory strategies on new and existing products.
- Communication: Provide excellent communication skills both written and verbally, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless inventory management.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a Demand and inventory planner role or similar, with a strong understanding of inventory management principles.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, advanced knowledge and understanding of Excel, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: An annual salary between £32,000 up to £40,000 dependent on skills and experience.
- Benefits: 25 days holiday which increases after each year of service + bank holidays, free onsite parking, private medical care, and opportunity for career progression.
Working Hours: This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.
