Job Overview

The Fire Door Maintainer and Installer will be responsible for carrying out fire door surveys, remedial works, and installations to the highest standard and in accordance with the BM Trada Q Mark scheme. This role requires a strong focus on providing a world-class building services maintenance service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct fire door surveys and remedial works within set time frames to meet customer expectations.
  • Provide accurate quotations for remedial works.
  • Assist with other carpentry/joinery works as instructed.
  • Ensure fire doors operate to specified performance criteria.
  • Provide a professional service and represent the company in a way that ensures customer satisfaction.
  • Take a proactive approach to client liaison and address concerns as necessary.

Requirements

  • NVQ/City & Guilds in carpentry or woodworking or related trade qualification.
  • Time served carpentry and joinery experience.
  • Must be IT literate.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Significant experience in fire door surveys, door maintenance, and door set installations/replacements.
  • Significant previous experience in providing PPM building services maintenance.
