About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Project Manager to join our team at itecopeople. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering digital and business projects, focusing on content management systems (CMS), websites, apps, and APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver digital and business projects, focusing on content management systems (CMS), websites, apps, and APIs.
- Implement and embed new processes and ways of working within the organisation.
- Engage with and manage stakeholders at various levels, including senior executives, directors, and heads of departments.
- Mitigate risks and overcome challenges associated with project delivery.
- Oversee both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Manage budgets (up to £1m) and supplier relationships, including procurement and contract negotiations.
- Ensure project team management and communication of project progress to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in project delivery (ideally for digital systems, business change, and IT projects, but with the ability to adapt and project manage various project types across other business sectors).
- Demonstrated expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, and the ability to influence and build trusted relationships.
- Strong change management and process implementation skills.
- Project management qualifications such as Agile, Prince2, or MSP are desirable and any experience working on digital programmes, such as websites, apps, APIs, and search systems in e-commerce, retail, online platforms, or CMS would be advantageous.
What We Are Looking For:
- You will need to be flexible, proactive, and have a strategic approach to problem-solving with a broad range of project management experience, who can not only lead digital projects but also adapt to different project types as required.
- As the ideal candidate, you will have strong interpersonal skills, a proven track record in stakeholder management, and experience with both technical and business transformation projects.
