Accessories Design Specialist

About the Role:
House of CB is seeking a skilled Accessories Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and stylish accessories that meet the high standards of our brand.
Responsibilities:
- Develop flat sketches and detailed tech packs for all accessories products, including graphics and print elements.
- CAD up approved sketches in Illustrator.
- Participate in research and identify seasonal fashion, fabric, technique, trim, and merchandise trends.
- Partner with materials manager on material sourcing for all accessories products.
- Partner with offshore development office on manufacturer sourcing for specialist products.
- Manage material development, swatches, and lab dip approvals for your own designs.
- Manage sample review process of accessories, addressing material, functionality, and construction issues.
- Prepare sample feedback and approvals for specialist accessories factories.
- Communicate daily with cross-functional partners, both internal and global.
- Support sample teams and showroom set-up for range presentations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of related experience with excellent technical knowledge in accessories design and construction.
- Strong knowledge of colour, material, detailing in a broad range of leathergoods and lifestyle accessories.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Proactive, professional, flexible, and able to multi-task.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop and basic Excel.
