About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Casual Nursery Worker to join our team at Toad Hall Day Nursery in Rayleigh, part of Grandir UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a positive role model to ensure that Grandir UK values are maintained
  • Ensure equality of access and opportunity for all staff, parents, and children
  • Supervise and support children at all times
  • Contribute to maintaining a welcoming environment
  • Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners
  • Implement company policies, procedures, and operational practices
  • Ensure practice and provision meet Early Years Foundation stage requirements
  • Notify line managers of concerns or issues regarding company policies and practices
  • Maintain a positive attitude with children, parents, visitors, and colleagues
  • Ensure confidentiality is maintained where appropriate
  • Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings, and training as required
