Job Title: Security Guard SIA Nights
Job Overview:
Mitie is seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team at Argos Barton. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for creating a safe working environment, free from crime and the fear of crime, for all colleagues, contractors, and visitors at our depot.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Conduct patrols of the depot
- Provide a visible security presence for colleagues, contractors, and visitors
- Book in and out of all vehicles entering and leaving the depot
- Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
- Liaise with depot management teams
- Deter theft and other poor working practices
- Respond to on-site incidents and assume control until arrival of emergency services or depot duty manager
- Highlight breaches of security procedures
- Support access and egress to and from the site
- Perform gatehouse duties, including booking in vehicles and supporting the transport operation
Requirements:
- Current SIA licence or SIA certificates
- Full 5-year checkable employment/education history
- Ability to work 4 on 4 off (days and nights)
- Reasonable level of PC skills
