Job DescriptionWe're seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration and operation of our cutting-edge engineering solutions. You will work closely with our design, fabrication, and project management teams to drive the commissioning and testing processes from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the commissioning process for offshore equipment and systems, including planning, execution, customer-facing demonstration, and documentation.
- Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Coordinate with teams to ensure successful integration and testing of complex equipment.
- Conduct site inspections and testing to verify sub-system and system performance and compliance with design specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the commissioning process and offshore trials.
- Provide technical support and training to customers and end-users on the operation and maintenance of commissioned equipment.
- Ensure all commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of commissioning activities, including test results, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Project Owners to ensure commissioning milestones are achieved within project timelines and budget constraints.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve commissioning processes and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Flexible and adaptable within a fast-paced environment.
- A solid team player with a holistic view.
- Willingness to learn and embrace new challenges. Cross-disciplinary training provided.
- Willingness to travel to offshore sites and customer locations as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in commissioning engineering, preferably in the offshore or marine industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of offshore equipment and systems.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
