We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Llanarth Court Hospital. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting the Ward Manager in managing a secure ward with patients under the Mental Health Act who have a diagnosis of mental health, personality disorder, and/or learning disability needs.

• Provide clinical and leadership expertise to support the wider nursing team.

• Deputise for the Ward Manager as necessary and demonstrate a willingness to develop and expand on existing roles and responsibilities.

• Assess and teach junior staff, and demonstrate good leadership skills.

• Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN and 2 years post-qualifying experience.
• Relevant clinical experience in a forensic setting.

• Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
