Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify their needs and develop effective care plans.
- Develop and implement interventions to support children and families, including providing guidance and resources to help them overcome challenges.
- Manage a caseload of children in need, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive the support they require.
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams to provide holistic support to children and families, including working with healthcare professionals, education providers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with statutory guidelines and safeguarding procedures to protect children and families from harm.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to track progress and ensure accountability.
- Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Registration with Social Work England (SWE) or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with children and families, ideally within a Children in Need context.
- Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external agencies, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Competitive rate of £35 per hour.
