Job Title: Children's Social Worker

Randstad Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Children in Need Social Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves working with children and families to provide support, manage risk, and ensure the safety and well-being of children in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify their needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Develop and implement interventions to support children and families, including providing guidance and resources to help them overcome challenges.
  • Manage a caseload of children in need, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive the support they require.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency teams to provide holistic support to children and families, including working with healthcare professionals, education providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory guidelines and safeguarding procedures to protect children and families from harm.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to track progress and ensure accountability.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Registration with Social Work England (SWE) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with children and families, ideally within a Children in Need context.
  • Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external agencies, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
