As a highly organised and proactive individual, you will be based at our Head Office in Mold, North Wales and our standard working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday. Some flexibility will be required to support the needs of the business.

Job Description:

As the Service Manager Fire and Security, you will be responsible for leading, managing and motivating a team of lone working field-based Fire & Security Engineers and the Operations office, ensuring that all customers are serviced, on time and to the highest standards. Your duties will include:

  • Developing strong relationships with customers, focusing on customer service, retention and growth
  • Managing, motivating and supporting field engineers directly
  • Distribution and allocation of work, ensuring completion within agreed timescales
  • Monitoring and reporting weekly on key deliverables and KPIs in line with our NSI and BAFE accreditations and business targets
  • Resolving all customer queries promptly, ensuring delivery of the highest standards of service
  • Monitoring materials and equipment, ensuring stock levels are correct
  • Managing fleet ensuring adherence to standards and maintenance schedule
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure best price practice and stock availability

Person Specification:

  • Proven Experience of hands-on direct management of a team of Engineers or similar on a day to day basis - ideally gained within the fire protection or security industry
  • Highly driven and motivated and the ability to multitask daily
  • Attention to detail is a key part element of this role
  • People management and motivation of the lone working engineers
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Clear, effective and influential communication skills at all levels
  • Must be IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft and experience of using CRM systems
  • Must have a Full UK driving licence
