The creation of a Sunseeker yacht demands exceptional hand craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail. Our team, comprising around 2000 members, including over 150 apprentices, embodies our commitment to traditional skills while embracing modern advancements.
Position Overview
We are on the lookout for skilled GRP Finishers to enhance our production team at Sunseeker. In this role, you will play a vital part in crafting high-quality vessels that are celebrated globally.
The ideal candidates will possess experience in automotive bodywork or have a background in the marine sector.
Key Responsibilities
As a GRP Finisher at Sunseeker, your duties will include:
- Finishing and repairing GRP structures on our production lines.
- Preparing and releasing moulds of various sizes.
- Collaborating closely with a dedicated team to achieve production targets while upholding our stringent quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- A positive and proactive approach to work.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional results, even under pressure.
- Strong adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
Work Schedule
- Day Shift | Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:30
- Night Shift | Monday-Thursday, 18:00-04:30
During the application process, you will have the opportunity to select your preferred shift pattern, subject to availability.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wages ranging from £14.00 to £16.05, depending on experience.
- Overtime compensation up to £24.07 (1.5x rate) and £32.10 (2x rate for Sundays/Bank Holidays).
