Exciting Graduate Opportunity in Geo-Environmental Engineering

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a talented Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our expanding team of specialists on a range of Ground Investigation projects across the Midlands.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to apply their educational knowledge and skills in a real-world setting. As a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will be involved in a variety of projects, including Phase I and Phase II investigations, groundwater and gas monitoring, borehole logging, soil and rock sampling, and trial pitting.

You will be responsible for carrying out site investigations, collecting and analyzing data, and producing high-quality reports. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site investigations and collect data
  • Monitor groundwater and gas levels
  • Log boreholes and collect soil and rock samples
  • Prepare and submit reports

Requirements
  • Degree in Geology, geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, or a related subject
  • Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and practices
