Job Title: Security & Cleaning Officer

We are seeking an experienced Security & Cleaning Officer to join our team at Woolshops Shopping Centre. As a Security & Cleaning Officer, you will be responsible for providing permanent security, cleaning, and maintenance duties to ensure a safe and secure environment for our customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service skills to our customers and staff.
  • Perform maintenance duties to ensure the centre is clean and well-maintained.
  • Operate CCTV control room duties to ensure the security and safety of the centre.
  • Conduct cleaning duties both internally and externally.
  • High vigilance to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
  • Liaise with Centre Management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Meet and greet staff and clients, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Customer service front reception cover.
  • Access egress with carpark and full knowledge of carparking systems.
  • Have an understanding of health and safety.
  • Patrol internal and external areas to ensure the centre is secure and safe.
  • Have good report writing skills.
  • Full uniform is provided (head to toe).
  • Must be punctual and have the ability to think on your feet.
Requirements:
  • Appropriate and current SIA License - Door Supervision or Security Guarding (frontline) is required.
  • First aid qualification - required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong observational skills.
  • Good understanding of Security requirements/functions.
  • Full 5-year checkable history.
  • Experience dealing with emergency situations.
  • CCTV - preferred.
Qualifications:
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred).
  • Security: 1 year (preferred).
  • Shopping centre experience (preferred).
