Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Powertrain Calibration Support Intern. This 12-month internship will provide you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in vehicle testing and calibration, working closely with our experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support in vehicle testing at customer facilities, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection.
  • Collaborate with calibration engineers to prepare vehicles for testing, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
  • Analyze measurement data and create comprehensive documentation for tests, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop a strong understanding of data measurement tools and create automated scripts for executing tests, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in maintaining hardware equipment databases, ensuring up-to-date information for future reference.
  • Support in running system data checks for customer deliverables, ensuring high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Currently studying for an undergraduate or Master's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, with a placement requirement as part of your course.
  • Experience with MATLAB and Simulink is advantageous, but not required.
  • Familiarity with vehicle powertrain architecture and internal combustion engines is essential.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools like Power BI and Python is desirable.
Additional Information

This internship is based at our Coventry site and is open to students who are required to participate in a work placement as part of their course. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a face-to-face interview and/or online assessment centre.
